I've been slimedI’ve been slimed. Yep, just happened. Victim of lies. Caught up in a web of hatred pointed directly at me and my loved ones. Typical abusive behaviour, where all wrong deeds originally starting from the other side got dumped at me instead.

Oh my! Hmmm wait…Oh well!

See, today I am not blogging to show myself as a victim. Not at all. Today I am blogging because I want to share with you this experience, what it has taught me, and how I chose to deal with it all.

I’ve been slimed…but so what?

Being slimed may originally look like a pain, but it is in fact a blessing in disguise!

In a lifetime we get to meet thousands of different people, people who come into our lives to either make it better, make it worse, or teach us a valuable lesson.

Yes, having been slimed has slammed my ego for a couple of minutes, but I got back on my feet instantly. I refuse to let anyone or anything influence me in a negative way. Instead I choose to keep my vibrational level high. Nothing holding me back, no hard feelings, as my conscience is totally clear.

I've been slimedLies hurt. Being accused of lying hurts too, especially when this is not true. But life goes on. No matter what others say or do behind my back, if it is based on lies, I refuse to let it haunt me. I believe that the truth always prevails no matter what. I also believe in Karma…what goes around comes around.

Never in a moment do I hate the one sliming me, for this person has helped me realise that I do not need this type of drama in my life, not from this person, not from anyone.

Same goes to you reading this. If you have found yourself in a similar situation, do not hold grudges, as if you do you will create blocks in your life which tend to manifest into illnesses. Instead, forgive your slimers and most importantly learn from them. Never treat yourself badly just so you make someone else comfortable, for maybe, just maybe, the good deeds you would have done to another no matter how hard it was for you may eventually turn into slime pointed directy at you. Start with self respect and let everything else fall into place. It always does.

Hate is never the answer. Love is the key. Love yourself enough to walk away from negative people and negative influences. Then and only then can you BE LOVE to all those surrounded by you.

Last night I was browsing Facebook and I found a picture with a quote by Danielle Koepke, which I thought I should also share with you…

“You don’t ever have to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn’t matter whether someone is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend, or a new acquaintance – You don’t have to make room for people who cause you pain or make you feel small. It’s one thing if a person owns up to their behaviour and makes an effort to change. But if a person disregards your feelings, ignores your boundaries and ‘continues’ to treat you in a harmful way, they need to go”.

I will now leave you with a great affirmation tied to this subject…

I will no longer allow negative things in my life to spoil all of the good things I have. I choose to be happy!
